Here & Now is committed to working with all our partners to achieve international cultural exchange at the lowest possible carbon cost, and with a focus on climate justice.
We're currently developing a carbon management plan for Here & Now, informed by data and learning from Horizon.
Actions will include continued work around prioritising lower-carbon travel modes; a carbon budget for delegate travel to Edinburgh; programming work which addresses the climate emergency; prioritising lower carbon impact work in our programme selection; developing our own knowledge and supporting artists to do the same.
We are committed to ensuring that our environmental commitments align and intersect with our commitments to inclusion, diversity and access.
